Cumberland County LTCF Application

I just submitted my LTCF application for Cumberland County (renewal, but haad to apply basically as if it were new since I moved into the county since I got it last time) and figured I'd give you a heads-up on the turn-around time. When I asked if the 3-4 weeks quoted on the website was a decent approximation I was told it has been closer to 6 weeks!

I live in Mechanicsburg and I think I just turn in my application into Carlisle Courthouse on Jan 8 2013 and still no word yet. When did you turn yours in?

I can't remember the exact date now, but I want to say it was around the 14th or so. Probably about a week after you turned yours in...

A friend submitted their application this past Wednesday morning, they were told 6 - 8 weeks.

YEP JUST GOT MY POST CARD SAYING TO GO PICK-UP MY CCW FROM THE CARLISLE COURTHOUSE... BUT APPARENTLY THERE NOT OPEN ON THE WEEKENDS (FAIL) SO NOW I GOT TO GO MONDAY... BUT WAIT I CALLED AND THEY SAID THAT THERE NOT OPEN MONDAY THE 18 FEB 2012 (DOUBLE FAIL) SO I GUESS I AM GETTING IT TUESDAY

i just got mine renewed, took 4-5 weeks.

I applied for my first LTCF on Dec 31st. The sheriff told me they were doing 5X's as many apps, and about a 45 day wait. As of today it's been 7 weeks. I have a clean record, but I'm starting to get impatient...

Just picked it up. I actually got the card late last week. About 5 weeks from the day I submitted my application until it was ready. He said that they're now telling people to plan on 6-8 weeks.
