    I don't see Anthony Arms listed as having an NRA course (First steps or basic pistol) anytime soon. Sometimes the instructors don't list them on the NRA site so you probably should call to check it out.

    Also keep in mind that while their indoor range is a great resource while you're learning to shoot, their reputation as an actual gun shop isn't the greatest.

    I took my basic NRA courses up in Wexford at Millvale SC, but that's going to be quite a hike for you going from south hills. But the instructors there are top notch and they will let you borrow a .22 pistol to use during the course.

    I'm just glad that there's a gun forum where people are still talking about going to the range, shooting some targets and having a good time.

    PMSC has been have group shoots 4 times a year right now.
    Just need to be a member of this forum and have $5.
    Watch for the next one, probably some time this spring (March-April).

    I thought Mt. Lebanon offered classes to residents at times. BTW-I live in Scott and I'm up for a meet some weekend.
