This is the person who Obama nominated to be the permanent director of the ATF. He is apparently pro-second ammendment and has been acting director since Fast and Furious. Anyone know anything else about this man?

This appears to break with Obama's tendancy to nominate the most controversial appointees possible.

I'd be less worried about the ATF and more worried about the IRS and obozocare. That seems like the route he's going to take to dismantle the 2nd amendment. Can't wait till the IRS hit squad rolls up out side my apartment.

I may be incorrect buy the BATF is part of or under the IRS. This fact gets very little press. They shelter their underbelly in different areas.

I will look into this and find out but it makes sense as the ATF was supposed to be the org that taxes alcohol, "tobacca(Amish, LOL)" and firearms. But this still doesn't really explain how it would be the undoing of the 2nd.
