    I have my doubts as I have made a couple of decent size ammo purchases in the last few days with my Bank of America card (same card I've been using for years).

    BOA has never blocked firearms or ammo purchases by me. Including this week. And I pretty much only buy the stuff that gives Feinstein the vapours.
