sight removal - BG380
Has anyone removed the rear sight from the S&W Bodyguard 380?
It snags on my pocket when I draw the gun quickly.
I'd like to remove the sight with minimal damage to the gun.
I wouldn't mind removing the front sight either.Love your country - Fear your government

Re: sight removal - BG380
The sights are dovetailed so clamping it in a wood-lined vice and tapping them out with a brass punch should do it. There are SOME guns that have a directional dovetail and the sight can only be pushed out one way...however I am not sure if that is the case.
If you don't have a vice most gun shops should be able to use a sight pusher to remove them for a nominal fee

I would try to grind/file down the corners first. I have one and it looks like the top of the rear sight can be filed down
