Glock LE order delay

On October 19, 2012 I ordered a gen4 Glock 19 LE, from Delia's Gun shop in philadelphia. When I ordered, I was told I should have it by thanksgiving at latest, but almost three months later I still have not received my order. I left a $100 deposit to reserve it and have called them every week or two since november and always get the same reply, "We have received confirmation of the order from glock so it should be in any day now. We'll call you as soon as it comes in but you should keep calling back." I've been told "any day now" for the past two months.

Looking at older forum posts, a 3-4 month wait for LE models is not unprecedented, but I was just wondering if anyone is having similar issues or how other people have dealt with similar issues.

Since May!? That's ridiculous. I wonder if that's a function of Delia's or is this just the nature of LE orders? The price is so right, but that kind of wait is crazy.

Are we talking the same discount that military receives? My brother just returned from a deployment and wanted to order one.

It should all be the same discount. According to Glock's website it looks like Military, Police, EMS and others who qualify get the same prices. I didn't look into prices of other models, but they're charging me a total of $436 for the gen4 Glack19 with three 15round mags. I'm pretty sure that's including tax and stuff since that is the total on the receipt for my pre-order (although since I obviously don't have the firearm yet I can't be 100% sure).

:-/ Since May?!?!?! I can only imagine it getting worse with the panic.

I don't feel bad for Jumstein though, as I advised him to pick up a LNIB Springfield XD9c at the Oaks show in ... November or October for right around $400 but he let fanboydom get the best of him.

I hope they get it to you before any magazine capacity laws take effect! Otherwise they will sub out your 15 rd mags with 10 rd'ers. If I were you I'd start looking for Glock mags now...

I ordered one through the GSSF program, which I think are the same guns as the LE ones. I've heard of similar issues on GlockTalk from other locations, so I suspect the problem is on the distributor end.

I kept calling, they kept saying "any time"... and I got bored of it after a while. I need to call again and bug them.

I know that insite firearms just got some glock 19 gen4 LEs in on monday. dunno if they were pre-ordered.

Good luck getting ANY mags at this point. I can't even find any for a Browning High Power.......
