    I'm watching it right now.
    Its pissing me off!
They are saying that the NY law that allowed William Spengler, who killed his grandmother should and have to be changed.

How is that? His whore of GF lied, and knowingly broke the law to provide him with the weapon!

They are kept seying that their gun controls are based on State Police recommendations.

A Police telling a government official what to ban!?

Am I the only one thinks there is something really wrong with that?

I mean you make a law, which your unable to enforce.
If they were being enforced, William Spengler would not have got his hands on the whatever the weapon he used.

Police are already unable to enforce the law, instead of blaming themself for their inability to enforce the law, they are going to pass more laws that they are unable to enforce.

    Stupid.
I'm glad that I left that BS state when I did(Ued to live in Oneonta NY)

I want to know how they picked seven for a round limit. Really seven? Was he thinking everyone agrees seven is a lucky number lets go with that.

I think M1 Garand will be limited to a 5 round clip. A least that's what I understood from a quick scan.

you can read the legislation here:

If it passed unamended, the new ban removes grandfather status from anything over 10 round magazines that are currently existing.

Anything up to 10 and currently existing is safe and grandfathered, but can only be loaded to 7, presumably including the one in the chamber.

    No new sales over 7.

There is nothing random about it. They didn't like their subjects being allowed to have 10 rounds in a mag, and they just seized the opportunity to fix that.
