Re: 2nd Amendment March on State Capitols
Why no Open Carry or Long guns? Seriously. Its not illegal. Not doing so only hurts our cause. If I can't open carry a pistol or long gun, I won't go.

Re: 2nd Amendment March on State Capitols
I would never attend a March with those sorts of silly restrictions. Suit and tie? Laughable. No OC? Even worse.
Good luck with it, though.

Re: 2nd Amendment March on State Capitols
So they are trying to strip us of our rights and this and we are being told no long guns, if I attend any rallies it will be with an AR strapped on me. the very reason we are in this mess is because we are too nice, time to push back.

I wear BDUs and a camoflauge jacket every day because it's comfortable.

Re: 2nd Amendment March on State Capitols
Much the same thought as others. I am tired of hearing how we as gun owners need to bend to make everyone happy with us. Are the anti's bending over backwards to make us happy and not infringe on our RIGHTS?
On Wednesday we are doing a rally. True to the core that will help or cause in earnest. There we will not be bringing long arms because it would hurt our mission. Why would we not even open carry our pistols on this ocasion? There will be no one in their offices, not a one person from the legislation that we are asking to speak, nor are we contacting our reps during the event.
Is there a PLANNED media attendance?
Is there any more planning than some people saying "let's all march on the capitol" ?
Is there an actual objective to come from this?
There are too many restrictions and lack of planning and lack of objectives for this to be a success. Much needs planned and put out and explained.
Take a few minutes and come up with these things and maybe you will get more than 100 people disorganized and playing right into the media's hands.

Re: 2nd Amendment March on State Capitols
This is what I wanted the NRA to do. Step up and organize a march on ALL state capitals on the same day.
I also am saddened by the restrictions and on a Sat. Good Grief.
The seem to want us to think that they are for us but I still have my doubts about the NRA's motives.

I understand why whomever made this flyer chose the 19th, but I think they really should have thought it through. No one is in Downtown Harrisburg on Saturday except for criminals.
