Belfast Edelman Sportsman Association
Hello all, I was looking to join a gun club and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this one. Any opinions on it would be helpful.

Re: Belfast Edelman Sportsman Association
Yes, right along route 33. A little walk to get to the ranges from the parking area. Walk around pond. No weather protection to speak of.
Just basic area to shoot at. U can buy membership at Belfast store, across the street from gas station.
The store also sell membership for Stockertown rod & gun club.
Both gun clubs have a very limited shooting hours due to there CLOSE proxsimity to town. NO RAPID FIRING, 5 seconds between shots.

Closer to U. Saylorsburg rod & gun club.
Roseto, (over the mountain) rod & gun club. Great shot gun range,(skeet)
I belong & was a range officer,5 years, for Easton Fish & game. Really like ranges there. Old guarry. Roof over head pistol & rifle range. clean well manor.
Lot of new jersey people use there ranges.
straight shot down route 33 to Easton exit. about 5miles from 25 th street. John's gun room has memberships. Check out web page. Type in easton fish & game.

I liked Belfast and also Stockertown. I would go to both at odd times during the week and hardly ever saw anybody else there which I like since I'm not a people person.

Re: Belfast Edelman Sportsman Association
I've been a member of several clubs -- all required NRA membership. It is a practice that is good for the club, and also a good "service" the club can provide to do a little bit to increase membership in the NRA.
Like the horse you can lead to water but whom may or may not drink, you can't make folks be politically aware and active. But this is one way that you can get more folks seeing the printed material, seeing the message (even if only on the way to the trash can ) and at least provide a present and easy route for them to become more active if the light eventually sputters to life.
If nothing else, it swells the numbers of the NRA and makes the organization "officially" represent just that many more people, which is an important factor on Capitol Hill.

The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.
