SIG P239
Anyone have any experience with this one? I am researching guns for carry and came across this one. I've never used a SIG before, but i've been wanting to get my hands on one.
Also, how much is a fair price for this gun brand new?

Re: SIG P239
I used to own one and in terms of their small but not too small "footprint" I think they're great. However, it's still a DA/SA auto with all the inherent *not worth the effort* issues relating to the first DA trigger press and long-ish reset.

Re: SIG P239
Greyhouse,
I own and carry a 239 most of the time when I carry.
I like the size and in my Milt Sparks IWB it all but disappears.I have found it to be very accurate in both .40 and .357sig. Pricey but worth it. Be sure to get extra sig mags
when you buy. I can't seem to find any in my area.

Re: SIG P239
Hi greyhouse, you'll sure like the Sig if you get one. New will be expensive, used will be cheaper if you find one and Sig has a $99 program for buyers of their used guns. Send it to them and they break it down and clean it and give it a close once over, lube it and then install their Siglite Night Sights. Not a bad deal(see their website). And they are accurate, you can shoot the eyes out of a gnat with them once you master the DA trigger. Let us know what you get...Mike45

Re: SIG P239
Love my 239. Very accurate, and it is my main carry gun. I would like to trade it in for the 239 SAS though. Maybe someday.
