State Capitol March Jan.19th 2013
Hey guys, we are trying to organize a march on the state capitol building in Harrisburg on the 19th of January 2013. It is to protest the AWB and other anti gun legislation. March starts at 12:00 noon. Spread the word.

Re: State Capitol March Jan.19th 2013
We're already doing it on the 23rd, a Wednesday. Why would you want to do it on a Saturday when the Capitol is closed?
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

I cannot take credit for organizing this, i heard it from nutnfancy who heard it from someone else. I don't know how many people will be able to go on Wednesday so it can't hurt to have one on a weekend. Also, I urge all of you to write your representatives.

Re: State Capitol March Jan.19th 2013
I know this is a huge undertaking. Has a date been decided on? I want to go. If it's 2 days I try to do both, but I don't want to drive all that way for nothing.

Re: State Capitol March Jan.19th 2013
23rd would be better for the capitol being open, but 19th will be better for getting large numbers of people to attend. And the rest of the country is doing it on the 19th.
AFAIK there are no assault weapons bans or similar laws in play in PA, so it's probably more important to make a show for the cameras than to actually confront legislators (if the MSM doesn't black it out).
