Looking at a side charger from BCA too. Are they a reliable company? I've always toyed with the idea of a side charger, seems like fun.

You're opening up a can of worms there Some people say 'garbage', others say ok for entry level. I've read the horror stories but have only had good luck personally. I'd rate them a hair below PSA, but not necessarily complete crap. Think issues were more prevalent years ago

Normally, I'd go to PSA for this level build without a second thought but their prices are way up right now...tough to finish my build for under $900.

I would say BCA is "fair". I'd choose them over the unknown.

They're the ones who were busted with the illegals working for them a few years ago.
Claimed they didn't know. Not sure what happened with that, but clearly still in business.

The gen 2 side charger design looks like a welcome improvement over the gen 1.

Yeah, you can tell BCA is a high end company by the use of cheesy (free) Youtube music that all the backyard welders and drone footage tubers use.

Everything they do is half assed on the marketing end. They are getting better, but good grief - PAY someone to do your marketing.

It just makes me wonder what they cheap out on with their manufacturing.
Still, I would go BCA over mystery parts.

A buddy of mine returned his upper with the side charging carrier...said it was jamming up consistently...not what you want to hear. I was about to buy one and decided against it.

I am spending the extra to buy quality...buy once, whine never!
