FWIW to others, this is obviously a 5.56 rifle not 7.62x39. Think there was a typo or something going on. Hell of a deal either way.

Correct.

I assumed they just used a stock photo of a 5.56 because the magazine was clearly not a x39 mag.
(otherwise, the rifles would appear visually identical)

The listing did say 7.62x39 when posted, so they must have had a typo that has since been corrected.
