Edit: bit the bullet and ordered a Seekins DNA from midway. Guess we’ll see how it works out, anything is better than this cheap milspec one that drags in the upper receiver and torques left/right.

If this doesn’t fix the issue then I have an upper that is out of spec

No deal, but Advanced Arms in Pittston has 25,000 rds. of Sig V-Crown 124gr. jhp, started selling this morning at 10:00. Limit 200rds. per customer in store only at $42. per 50rd. box. I left store at 11 and they had sold about 4000 rounds, and no one else in store buying ammo.

Through my experience over two orders, about 10-15% of the AK mags will arrive broken. They will refund your money, just make sure you order an extra mag or two to compensate.

Thanks for the heads up, I*ve ordered ak mags in the past that are still unopened. I will have to check them. In what way were they broken?

The floor plate separates from the mag. The bag they are shipped in holds them together, but it is easy to see when you sort through them.
