Can I get a CCW at a gun show?
A friend of mine told me that it was legal and that some gun shows therea a place to get one ... is this true ?

If they are talking about a ccw they might be talking about another state. In Pa it*s a ltcf and I*m guessing that sheriffs do not make it a habit of setting up at shows to go through the process of giving people their ltcf. Considering most counties take days to weeks to go through the process I am saying that this is not true in Pa.

No. Sheriffs(and Chief of Police in Philly) issue PA's license, which they are typically located at courthouses, and the Philly PD at the police station. Some sheriffs offices do have a roaming/remote office depending on county.

Now, if you are asking if it is legal to carry a concealed weapon at a gun show - yes. However some venues may prohibit carrying for their own, or for insurance reasons.

Some sheriff's do issue lctf at certain events check your county website

Yes you can.............all flavors of Glock, Sig, CZ, Beretta and others at most shows.
You can even get rifles and shotguns.

As for a LTCF - you may not.
