Keep an eye on Primary Arms. They're probably soon due for a weekend 24hr upper sale. Usually $200 give it take, sometimes less. Often Radical brand, but sometimes Foxtrot Mike. I'd say Presidents Day will see some sales, at any rate.

Combat Armory too, but theirs are all out of stock right now.

Excellent, thank you. I will steer clear of foxtrot mic products, though. Had an upper from them that never worked right. Send it back to them They claimed they put a new BCG in it and all was well. I got it back same problems all over again then they told me to buy more products from them to fix it then they told me screw off when I told them where to shove that and then stopped responding to me. Terrible company. Terrible product.

Building off of the Great barrel deals, are there any great complete upper deals out there? 16" or so barrel. Preferably an upper that is on the lightweight side

Pricing will vary depending on what setup - basic "M4 style" vs a free float handguard, etc.
Most "complete" uppers (minus BCG and CH) of the "budget friendly" variety have been hovering around $200, so less than that is generally a good deal.

What's nice about a 22 is that it doesn't need a buffer or buffer tube at all. Plug the end with a cap with a QD mount.
