Was considering 8* or 10.5* barrel (for a bit more velocity/range) with that 7* handguard that was posted a few pages back, and a standard A2 style flash hider as a muzzle device. Slap a magpul angled foregrip on and call it a day.

No idea what i want to do about a brace...shockwave or sba3 are first that come to mind

The AR9 uses a standard AR FCG correct? Part of me wants to drop a binary trigger into it for gits and shiggles. SMG style fun without all the paperwork/nfa garbage

All parts are the same except barrel, bolt, buffer, and mag.
And there's no gas block/tube.

Look at Magpuls new offerings for a brace. I*m curious as to how long it*ll matter anyway. I have two Thordsen Customs pistol tube setups just in case.

I’ll take a peek, thanks for the heads up kinda want ergo rubberized grip with storage. And i agree with ya, for however long it actually matters (hence why im building it while i can)

^ might be just the cobalt colored Glock 17 that's still in stock and $100, but still...good deal (and FYI, not what normal people would call 'cobalt', for anyone new to P80 colors)

heads up Rook tactical is also going to have front and rear rails in stock this weekend too for all the P80 series / 3d printed frames that take the P80 rail system.
