Just a note for left handed AUG fans, this is not the model to buy. The NATO version does not have the cutout and port cover for left hand ejection. The regular version does, but you still need to buy a left handed bolt from Steyr.

If you look closely the "third hole" is not a hole but just a circle mark in the receiver. Unfortunately this mark could make this lower illegal since it shows where to dill a single hole. Its all about the BATF being out of control and the definition if "intent".

Funny, all you need is a marking punch .123" from the top in-line with the selector and a .125" hole.... Easy to memorize measurements, maybe that's intent too?

I don't know, there are plenty of AK's out there that have the Y stamp at the location of their third hole.
