Think im going to order one tbh…its cheaper than ammo and theoretically could double as a rough bench zero.

Yeah. I gave up after I determined that 30 was looking like the best discount at this time.

I recall about 8 years ago a bunch of places had offers where the first XX people got the deal.
Can't even recall the vendor, but I remember their server freezing up.
I had like 6 tabs open trying to complete an ammo order because it would get so far along, then stop.
Eventually I got one window to complete the sale and then the item went out of stock.
I won. Woo!

Anyone have a deal for a 30cal muzzle device i can use on that upper posted a few pages back? Something about my hand being half an inch or so from the a2 birdcage makes me a bit squeamish 😅 even with the built in handstop, id rather have a linear comp

I've been seeing Kaw Valley linear comps on sale a lot lately.

Also, I have been happy with these things off of Ebay.
You can get them for about $20 shipped and avail in a multitude of colors, caliber sizes, and thread pitches

They were very popular under the name Tacfire linear comp, but a bunch of companies "make" them. (all the same with different names)
I like to order a matching jam nut with muzzle devices and use that vs a crush washer - makes on/off much simpler.




OR just look for a simple flash can - they come in a wide range of lengths.


I forget where your barrel ends, but if it extends past the handguard, then you will want to think about how it will look.
The ones that extend out from inside the handguard tend to look less dorky all around.

Thanks EM. Eventually i’ll spring for another PWS cqb comp but for now just need a cheapy. Barrel threads and shoulder are in line with end of handguard so the birdcage is past the end. I honestly prefer them to tuck into the handguard but without putting a longer one on…

When the takedown system gets installed though, it’ll add another 1/2”-1”
