Good catch. They are the melty type for sure if he got the ones I mentioned.
They won't be the right height anyway.

UTG Pro makes some nice fixed and folding sights for not a ton of money. Unsure if height would be an issue.

Alpaca, this may interest you. I have one arriving Thursday that I can report back on. The other Bushmaster upper I ordered from them I'm going to send back. It's nice, but then I saw this, bought it and got buyers remorse for the first. Plus it was a heavy barrel (super thick under the handguard) which they didn't advertise.

There's a big hubub over at ar15.com over these barrels. Apparently they are CHF chrome lined from a Remington military contract overrun. Think Colt or FN for way cheaper.

I think you can do better than that Anderson in the price range. Plus I just hate railed gas blocks.

Following the thread on AR15 a couple people reported the 14.5 barrels (not the complete uppers) with flash hiders were not pinned &welded even though advertised. I'll let you know Thursday how the upper checks out. Bit of a gamble, they could get sold out. But returning my other upper was easy enough they just sent a label after I asked.

CDNN buys overstock from wherever they find it. All these assembled uppers are obviously assembled by CDNN using a mix of brands.
Not that there's anything wrong with that - all my builds are "mix breeds" and the brands they are using are mostly respected names.
They had some outstanding values a month ago, but nobody seemed interested. Now they are raising pricing - still some fair prices, but not like before.
I'd rather buy one assembled from DPMS/Bushmaster/Remington factory parts than from some budget website that shows no info for their parts sourcing.

(also, some of their "builds" are really retarded, while others are quite nice)
