"Ammo" was a separate comment - it's coming back.

Dunno where you are seeing cheaper ammo at, 9mm is still $30 a box anywhere i see it.

Except at my LGS (when he has it)...

Sportsman's warehouse near us had a bunch of cci blazer in stock at 18.99 a box. Not great but not 30.

Could have assembled one from this and a complete lower for about $750

I completely feel your pain the first one I custom built was not inexpensive either would have been cheaper to just buy a complete one.....but what fun would that be.

Yup...its not the price really (uncle potatohead paid for it). Im just bitching because i could have built 2 instead of one, or had a carbine length upper to pair with it for the price of buying an upper like that and a separate lower vs what i have in mine. 2 is always better than 1 right?

But you are right, wheres the fun in that? Plus, i theoretically get a better quality firearm and know the weapon inside and out

I almost hesitated to post this. I have been searching for 45 long colt at not butt raped prices. $60 for 50 ain*t great compared to the price you get when you buy a gun and they will only sell you one box, but you can buy 3 boxes here https://www.georgia-arms.com/ shipping was $15. It helps because I can*t even find brass except on gunbroker. I have year old catalogs showing cowboy loads $35-$40 a box and even a couple of dollars more so all in all not bad. One other place had reloads for $95 a box of 50.

P.S. almost forgot, they shipped it same day, well labeled created.

I absolutely agree ...... so in the spirit of this statement I am in the process of building another ( because I can.)
