Yes, they are selling for the MSRP of an HK SP5, but you won't find an SP5 for probablyunder $3500.
I didn't know that Zenith and MKE had a falling out but I was aware that there were some quality control issues with the latest batch to come in a year or so ago. And those prices are sky high all the way around.

If anyone stumbles across some extra power hammer springs that’ll fit LR308, keep me in mind. A heavier hammer also would be nice...

Or a good deal on a drop in trigger...I’m chasing down light strikes on the new rifle. Have a couple titanium firing pins on order.

For a .308 AR, that shouldn*t be necessary unless maybe trying to use steel cased, and even then usually it*s only the com bloc calibers that have tough primers. I would check your firing pin protrusion first, which could be a FP or even bolt face problem.

The LPK is of unknown origin: it came with the build kit. The bolt could also be a bit dry and not allowing the FP to move freely...im going to tear it down and deep clea /ultrasonic clean it.

It’s mainly doing it with surplus ammo (harder primers).

Look up School of the American Rifle on You tube. I think that you are over thinking SOME of your issues. There are several simple tests that you can try with out any special tooling/jigs to see that your parts meet the Mil- spec requirements.

I second and third SOTAR. Chad is a guru with the AR. A shame Facebook nuked his group. So much knowledge shared was tanked over night.
