I personally have 2 of these and they are nice. I had one issue where the firing pin wasn't correctly sized, durkin sent me a prepaid packing slip to return it and replaced the entire bcg, headache free.

I should specify, i have 2 of these exact kits, 2 of the quad rail 10.5's, and 2 of the "premium" 16" kits. Aside from the one issue which they resolved, all went together without an issue. I have ~200-300 rounds through each and have had no issues. One word of warning is they come completely disassembled, which means you'll need to assemble the upper as well. That means barrel, gas block, gas tube, upper receiver, bcg, charging handle. Great and cheap learning experience if you're not familiar, but it's a bit more of a challenge than a lower.

I know people say that, but I would take upper > lower any day. Dont know if I've just gotten lucky, but never had any issues building an upper...meanwhile I'm usually fighting with pins/holes not lining up and springs flying on a lower.
