They fit the same way the PMAGs did in the video - seven across - alternating top to bottom to fit.

I didn't have enough Lancer's near the safe without needing to go get them from range bags, so pictured below, I just configured them to show how they would fit - you just have to fill in the rest of the space with your imagination.

First thoughts:

1. It would be easier to snatch a mag quickly with them in the upright position.

2. If stored upright, you can not "stack" the bins.

3. With mags stored upright, the bottom of the bin sags under the weight of loaded mags.
If the bin is sitting on a solid surface and you have no need to move it, I doubt it would be an issue, but it's entirely possible that the plastic could crack over a prolonged period due to the weight.

4. Storing them as shown in the video completely eliminates any concerns about the weight regarding sagging.
When stacked this way, the mags are fully supported by the "framework" around the bottom edge, and no weight is being supported by the actual bottom of the bin!

5. Storing them as shown in the video allows for bins to be stacked.

6. Stashing my mags in one bin frees up a lot of space on the top of my safe and I no longer have to worry about knocking over a pile of mags that were previously laying on their sides, stacked 4-5 high!

Gonna have to see how my 28 rd AR15 7.62x39 mags fit.
