And like usgi mags they may require feed lips massaging…at least that was my experience: hence my preference for pmags. I like my stuff to work out of the box with repeatable reliability across all. The 5 lancers i had were all the same isses with feeding that went away when switching to pmags. Plus $9-$11 per mag vs $18 plus makes more sense

Ironically I run lancers as my go to they feed everything I have thrown at them no issues at all for me.

Lancers (due to the metal feed lips) have the same problem USGI mags do, they can be damaged in such a way that isn't readily apparent but will cause feed issues at unpredictable times. However with a pmag it will be very obvious that its broken.

I wasnt impressed and sold mine immediately after i bought them. Steel feed lips, but they are/were looser in the magwell than a pmag. I suppose if you want see thru to gauge round count, its worthwhile. I have a habit of counting rounds as i go though, until i hear *click*

It's personal preference. I like them because they are slim like a USGI mag.
As much as I know that PMAGs are great mags, I just don't like them - they are more bulky.
I'm pretty sure that Lancers have failed some sort of torture tests, but I still hold them up there with the best of what's out there.

I like Troy Battlemags and Hexmags for the same reason I like Lancers - slim like a USGI mag - but I don't trust them like I do a Lancer mag.
I have a pile of Troy mags I got for dirt cheap years ago - they are my stash for trading some day.

Lancer BLACK mags usually go for $15 and the SMOKE ones are closer to $20, so getting those for $15 is a pretty good price.

Thanks, I have enough pmags and metal mags to last until my great great great grandchildrens generation. Might pick up a couple of the Lancers just for the hell of it.
