Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
If I wanted another ar I would jump on it. I have been considering getting a 5.7 for a while. The problem with getting into 5.7 now is the ammo is so expensive. Not a good time to be getting into a new caliber. I am going to wait until I can get a great deal on just the gun itself and use any money saved for ammo.

Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
For the record, there is never a good time to get into 5.7 if you're worried about ammo prices. There was a very narrow window when you could get AE5728 for under $20/box and FN SS197 was around $23/box. Still a good deal more expensive than 9mm, which is a better option 9 times out of 10 from a practicality and availability standpoint. If you want to get into 5.7, just do it. PSA will be dropping their 5.7x28 ammo soon. It was supposed to drop it back in Nov, but rumor is they are making some changes based on feedback from some testers. Once a new major player hits the market with 5.7x28, you will see a positive shift in prices. Not an overly dramatic one, but one that may make getting into the cartridge a little more palatable.

FWIW, I saw FN branded ammo for $37/50 a day or two ago. Dont keep up with it too closely, but i think that's down about 25% from where it was even 6 mo. ago.
Forget where it was at... Gunmagwarehouse maybe?

Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
There are better deals than that if you're patient. I picked up 500 rnds of AE5728 for $24/box on sale back in Nov. I also got 500 rnds of SS197 for $30/box. Pricey, but it back filled what I'd shot over the past year.
4.6x30 is an intriguing cartridge, but there's only one gun on the US market for it and I don't think it's worth the money. And ammo options are so limited it makes 5.7x28 look like a mainstream cartridge. It's kind of like 22TCM/22TCM9R. Great performers, but there aren't many guns or ammo options on the market.

Alright, this isnt a deal...unless you've got some Scarface level cash....but for all you Crockett and Tubbs wannabes, I present the Canik Miami special complete with Miami skyline visuals. Believe there is a blacked out "night" version too.
