I have 2 Pinty brand red dots that have been good so far, but they too have auto shutoff. I ended up paying like $13 each with stackable codes, so I'm not going to complain. I'll move them to plinkers later.

Wow, my Northtac scope showed up already... super fast shipping! It came in a nice Pelican-esque case, it also included a bikini cover, an anti-reflective cap, cleaning cloth, Energizer battery, and manual. But no lower 1/3 mount (no problem for me, just mentioning it in case anyone else was thinking of ordering one.) One other note: I tried opening the battery cap by twisting the knurled edge and thought "wow, this is on really tight" but then tried a coin and it opened no problem - the knurling is on the fixed shell, which is a bit silly but no big deal now that I know that.

Yeah, contents the same - absolute co-witness mount (that's on it) is the only mount it ships with.

Glad you mentioned the stupid battery cover. A nickel fits the cap slot perfectly.

Overall, it's almost identical in size to the SIG Romeo 5
The dot seems crisp although the dot gets a little brighter on the Romeo 5 (but Romeo 5 blurs at highest 2 settings)

I had read that the kill flash will fit other red dots that are threaded to accept them, so I checked it against my old Primary Arms micro red dot (gen 1) and it does fit. The PA kill flash has a deeper thread area and doesn't really fit properly on the Ronin, but the Ronin kill flash fits onto the PA dot just fine.
If I had a red dot and wanted a kill flash, I'd order one from Northtac and get it for dirt cheap vs the $25 plus shipping from PA.

EDIT: I can confirm that the shake awake feature works and is very sensitive. I have it sitting on a box on the table and I lightly tapped the top of the red dot and it immediately came on.

So far it looks really good. I like the overall flat finish vs the shiny, black knobs on a flat black body on the Romeo 5, and it has no tacky white logos, or wording on it.

Sort of a weird one...entry price pt but may have some nice extras. ATI AR with pencil barrel that MAY come with a 60rd mag and sights for $360. Do your homework I guess....the description is promising, not sure if you really get all that or not though.

The 60 rd mag is both pictured AND listed.

Also, the 60 rd mag is an ATI mag, so it makes sense that it's paired with an ATI rifle.
Searching using the UPC results in other places selling the identical setup, including the 60 rd mag.
Buds wants $436 for it

That said, it's a POLYMER upper and lower with a "carbon fiber-infused" buffer tube.

At the price point of basically $300, it's cheaper than most 22LR AR15s.
Not what I would want as my primary weapon for self defense, but a good budget plinker/gift for a kid.
