I've been researching inexpensive red dots ordered the Ronin P-12

The P-10 riser height is not listed (and this is the oldest design)
The P-11 riser is a part of the optic and is lower 1/3 cowitness (which I don't want)
The P-12 riser is interchangeable and comes with absolute cowitness AND lower 1/3 cowitness mounts. PERFECT!!!

Thanks, I ordered a P-12 to try out. FWIW, I don't know that it actually comes w/ a lower 1/3 mount as well, I think it might just the absolute. Their site is a little vague on it but the description says "P-12-C" and where the product overview video says "choose between" the absolute and lower 1/3, it shows the absolute as P-12-C and the lower 1/3 as P-12-L. Also, some of the reviews, etc. (e.g. https://youtu.be/IL26pdKHtWI?t=138) show it supposedly comes w/ a screw-on anti-reflective device, but their description doesn't mention it at all. Northtac's pictures make it look like it isn't even threaded... I guess we'll find out!

It could vary by production run, but one unboxing vid did show both mounts in the box.
I wanted something with either shake awake OR a battery life long enough to leave it on 24/7.
I had thought I found that in another product and almost purchased, but it had auto shut off with no way to disable that.
These seem to be a notch above your stanard fare China dot.
At least they have been around for 3 or more years and get good scores for customer service.

I have 2 Pinty brand red dots that have been good so far, but they too have auto shutoff. I ended up paying like $13 each with stackable codes, so I'm not going to complain. I'll move them to plinkers later.

I ordered the Northtac red dot at 2:20AM and got a "Your order has shipped" notice at 11:50AM.

Those Pinty red dots look like they'd be nice to toss on a plinker. You'll have to post in here if you ever see any deals like that again on them! I wouldn't mind picking one or two up.
