I did read what you have posted a little while ago on arfcom, and I think your reference is still correct, that you measure from buffer tube end to flash hider tip. When I measure my 10.5" barreled pistol from the end of the buffer tube to the tip of the flash hider, I get roughly 26", so it seems it's a new restriction because many, many folks have barrels between 10.5" and 16".

In the end, if the length don't get ya, the rest of the red tape will. Very few braces will survive without a stamp. I'll have to get an arm strap for my Kak shock-wave, although question is, does that get me more points for altering the brace, or worse, does it make me out to be trying to avoid the NFA classification, which apparently is an excuse to call it an SBR according to this proposal. Seems to be written by some ex-Soviet bureaucrats for enforcement by KGB thugs (in other words, they can arrest you whatever you're doing or not doing).

I have a timney impact. It is okay. Very little creep and pre/post travel. The one i have is advertised with 3.5 pound pull weight. It is definitely more. Not much more. Still a mil spec improvement.

That said, I think there are a lot of good triggers for roughly the same money that don't say timney on them.

That's getting there. It looks like prices are on the fall and I'm going to guess that demand is falling way off. I expect prices near pre-scamdemic levels adjusted for inflation.
