Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
I got one of the first ones that arrived in the US.
I modified my own G10 grips from a set of Beretta Vertec ones.
I actually sold both of my Beretta 92*s In favor of the Girsan.
The locking system on the Girsan is angled as opposed to the vertical system on the Beretta.
IMO this makes for a *softer* shooting experience as the slide and barrel don't *slam* to a stop like the original Beretta design.
They use many Beretta parts, grips need a slight alteration to ne of the grip holes, they use Beretta mags.
The Regard is the sidearm of the Turkish military and Girsan is an ISO certified manufacturer and the Regard is a NATO spec pistol.
I*m going on... but I*ve been really impressed by this pistol especially for the price.
I posted a pic of one of mine, the first one on the What Did You Buy Yourself Today thread if you*d like to see what I did for grips.

Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
This is why the shelves are bare there.
He just got in his 30-30 ammo yesterday, 150gr Power Point, $18 a box, a guy was in while I was there picking stuff up for repairs and said he just bought some of the same ammo for $49 a box at another local shop.
I just hope people remember the shops that didn*t use this time as an excuse to buy a new Caddilac.
He sells his primers for $4 when he gets them in, and he*s still making the same profit on his ammo as he did two years ago.
Small shop but he*s really a great dealer. No participation trophies 'round here...

I miss going to Security Military depot. Tim is great and I*ve always loved his business model. Never over prices and is always welcoming. Has some high end items and some affordable items. Always worth a look even if you*re close. I live a little over 2 hours away and I was going there regularly before my work schedule/life changed.

Any leads on a good deal for a dedicated 22lr upper for an ar15 or is it still way cheaper to just get a s&w m&p 15-22?
