Bot sure if a deal but in stock, at any rate. Cabelas had Herters 40s&w for $16 and 38 Spec for $18 last night. Lots of 40, only a handful of 38.

Who makes those Herter ammo nowadays? It says "Made in USA". Their rifle rounds were loaded by S&B in the recent past, but their handgun ammo have been domestic made for some years, I think. For some reasons I thought, or have heard, that CCI makes them for Cabela's/Bass Pro. Does anyone know for sure?

The prices were good. But of course they are OOS now... I will be sure to keep an eye on Cabela's website more diligently in the coming months.

That seems to be anyone's guess.. all it says on the box is made in the USA.. I still have around 7/800 rounds of this and I've had no problems with it
