It*s funny how perceptions change so easy. 10 years ago that would have been a phenomenal price for any AR. Two years ago that AR was probably selling for $400 so it seems expensive in a *It*s a good price for the market but still expensive* sort of way. When in reality you are still getting an AR for under $600 which was rare 10 years ago when AK*s were still the cheaper of the two.

Not a disagreement. The issue is that 6 months ago, you could buy virtually every company's entry ar for 500$ or less. What's the service department of radical look like? I know how good Ruger and s&w are to their customers typically. Now the same sport ii from s&w that they couldn't give away at 500$ can't stay on the shelf at 750$.
A few years back i was in a gun shop and heard the clerks commenting to each other that the market for ar15s had bottomed out. This was when psa was selling them for under 400$. Clearly they were wrong.
