$300 life membership for NRA

I think it's until the end of February. You need a life members number to "sponsor" you. Life members are giving their info out all over on defensive carry forum. It's a damn good deal. It's better than disabled vet deal for $375 that I was going to get.

I did that last time the ran a similar deal. Didn't need no stinking sponsor, either.

here is the deal, you have to call the NRA select option 3 wait a while to get a rep and tell them you are interested in the life member deal and give them a life members NRA number who will sponsor you.

there are several over there. some are saying that the 1st time they called and gave a life members info the rep would not except it without the actual member on the phone,

they would call back and get a different rep who would process everything. you have to tell them about the $300 deal and a sponsor. they try to sell you a $700 deal.

even if you get told you have to get the life member on the phone there are a bunch of them on the "defensive carry forum" that will set up a conference call and they are welcoming new members with open arms over there.

maybe a few of us can do it and become members and get everyone started over here.

this deal is only until the end of February.

When I got my Life membership quite a few years ago I had same problem. Several phone calls and I was able to get my payment applied to the life membership as an "upgrade" IIRC.
Worth a try anyway.
