Re: ilanois gun ban
You voted many of these anti-gun legislators out of office, and now, in their last days as law makers, they want to quietly trample on the rights of all law-abiding gun owners in Illinois.
1. Personal pain for the politicians who vote for the ban whether they stay in the Legislature or not. They become infamous in the Internet for their cheap shot at gun owners.
2. Financial pain for former politicians who become lobbyists. Make them into laughing stocks who cannot get business done because they "pissed off gun owners'.
3. Political pain for the Governor. Make him suffer for his cheap shots at gun owners. Now he'll have to work twice as hard to get what he wants because gun owners do not forget.
4. Make the gun control enthusiasts responsible for the violence on the streets Chicago. They could have done something useful - improved policing, police intelligence or helped with gun trafficking into the city. Instead they banned ugly guns as a cheap shot at the NRA.
Make the gun control nuts own the results - more dead kids in Chicago.Last edited by GeneCC; January 1st, 2013 at 11:12 PM.

Lots of interesting info on that link. I wish all gun manufacturers would simply move out of states that are clearly anti. Move into states what would appreciated them.

Re: Illinois gun ban
Cullerton is creating a Concorde moment in Illinois as a testbed to gauge reaction for forthcoming Bills on the national level. I have to wonder if he received his orders from the Whitehouse.
