Glock 19 gen4
Proud new owner of a 19 gen4. Traded in my Sig Pro 2009 for it bc I wasn't a fan of the Sig mainly bc of the 10lb trigger pull in DA.
Headed to the range yesterday to try it out and became disappointed bc the parking lot wasn't plowed and there was no way my car was making it through the snow (about a foot here in Clinton County).
Anyway, can't wait to get to test drive it. Plan on pickin up a Fusionpac holster. Seems to be one of the most comfortable IWB

Re: Glock 19 gen4
Sure thing. Opted for the 4 over the 3 for 2 main reasons... Smaller grip bc I have small hands as does my wife and it comes with 3 mags. Since it is almost impossible to find 15rd mags unless you over pay I figured 40 more for the gen4 was common sense

Re: Glock 19 gen4
The gen 4 19 was my first glock. I bought it about 6 months ago and love it.
It changed my view on glocks and polymer pistols.FOAC Member, NRA Member

Re: Glock 19 gen4
When I first got into firearms, my first purchase was a Glock 19.
I practiced with it, carried it and completed my Act 235 with it. I ended up selling it for what ever reason and went through a whole bunch of different carry guns over the last several years.
Over time, I realized that I should have just kept that Glock 19.
I ended up buying a new Glock 19 this last summer and have never looked back since. IMHO, one of the best conceal carry firearms out there.

Re: Glock 19 gen4
Seems like I made a good choice. I was debating for a whole between the 26 and 27 since they are super easy to conceal but I thought it was too small for home defense and range use. I was considering getting a .40 cal bu I have a bunch of 9mm ammo and I have never shot a .40 so I didn't want to chance it

Contemplating putting Trijicon night sights on it but didn't know how they were or if there was anything better on the market

Re: Glock 19 gen4
Do give us a full range report once you can. I'll be looking at G19s soon, and another satisfied owner just makes the decision all that much easier.

Re: Glock 19 gen4
I just bought a glock 22 gen 4. I picked it up from the shop today and put 150 rounds through it and so far I love it.

Re: Glock 19 gen4
I have a Gen 3 G22 as a primary home defense firearm.
18 months ago chose a Gen 4 G26 for cc.
No regrets whatsoever.
Easily concealable, very accurate.
Use GAP floor plates on the 10 round mags to aid in grip while drawing.
Carry G19 mags as extras.
