I would not bet on this being the case. I'm betting that 60-90 days would be the MAX.

I'd be stunned if that happened. No gun shop with liquid inventory is going to hold it back when they can "name their price." To say it's a seller's market right now is a gross understatement.

And with taxes likely to increase greatly next year, I would think shops will want to makes sales sooner rather than later.

Taxes are increasing next year no matter what. That is not even up for debate. The only debate is who's income taxes are going up and how much, the AMT, and capitol gains.

Last Friday, Montgomery County, "gun permit" section.

I scheduled my day around the "quick 20 minute process" that I had read about previously. There was a long line when I went in, there was a longer line when I left. In and out in about... 2 hours.

There was at least one person trying to cancel her license (with one year left) so she could get a full 5 years now, just in case the law changed.

I called in a PICS yesterday and it went right thru- though I did get to speak with an agent to confirm who was buying the firearm. Total time less than 5 minutes. The volume of checks is monumental, from 12/31 to 12/27 my approval numbers were almost 79,000 apart! WOW!

Anybody else who applied in person at the Bucks County Sheriff's office still waiting for their LTCF? I re-applied with a PICS reversal letter on Dec 24 and am still waiting for it in the mail.
