Gah. I gotta say that is one pimpin gun.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Weird. I've taken pics and posted them over the years, but apparently, I've always posted them in other threads.

    Time for a BUMP!

Tonight I decided to snap a few pics while making dinner...

That's a beautiful 1911. I liked it with the smooth wood grips too.

    Thanks.
I didn't like those factory grips at all. I wanted to find some super-fancy gold and silver grips, or some sort of blue "swirl" type of material, but never got around to it.
The black Magpul grips were on clearance and I grabbed them as a temporary measure, but still haven't gotten anywhere with "custom" grips.

I was going to recommend Raasco Grips but it looks like they went tits up a few years ago! I've been getting most of my grips from eBay lately...one of the last gun things they let people sell.
