Default The array of Obama's gun committee needs challenging

    Biden? Infamously anti-gun.

Now, Obama is appointing Philadelphia Police Commissioner Ramsey to head the "study". It is well known that Ramsey, originally from Chicago and the Daly machine, believes no citizen should be armed.

The plans are popping up from below the radar. This study commission is a joke.
They are moving very fast for a reason. They believe in never letting an emotional opportunity go to waste.

I think the minor point of Ramsey carrying illegally in Philly for years should be brought to their attention.
    George,

I certainly agree, but I'm sure that they'll tiptoe around that somehow.

And when they start to lose the public's interest you can be sure they will tout out the cute little photos and unopened Christmas presents.

No need to tiptoe, he is one of the "family" and as such above the law.

He has an agenda. What did you think he possibly was going to do? He puts Biden on the job because Biden, as the author of the AWB from '94, he's not going to lose any popularity points that he didn't lose a long time ago. He puts a "study" in place that will definitely support his side... no surprise.

Writing letters to pro-gun members of Congress, while still a good idea, is not going to get our point across. Same goes for writing to and calling the very anti-gun members. The people that need to be addressed are the middle of the road folks... Democrats that fairly recently took their seats from Republicans and Republicans that might be on the fence about their vote. Remind them of what happened after the last AWB. Reason with them, if you want; but the most important thing to mention is that you vote pro-gun rights.

I found it very amusing for Obama today to call for us to look into how our culture glorifies guns and for the NRA to do some introspective look at itself yet had Jay Z host a fundraiser and perform at his campaign rally in Ohio.

He never disappoints me in exceeding what was previously thought an unattainable level of hypocrisy.

Also, for a laugh about Biden hosting this task force check out this link:
