What can really happen?
Question...
I understand that any AWB can restrict the manufacture, sales and transfers of newly manufactured products, but can or will anything be done to effect AR/AK already purchased?
Best case scenario (other then no action) would be restrictions on mag capacity, folding stocks and whatever makes an assault rifle. But in practical terms what is the worst case scenario?
I cannot see the state knocking on our doors to collect them.
I cannot see mere possession of a banned item purchased pre-ban as a crime.
I doubt that they can get folks to "register" pre-ban weapons as registry is now unlawful now. But not sure on this one.
I can see the end of private sales without PICS or other background check.
I can see some attempt to prevent sales to folks with mental health issues but that is going to have to overcome major privacy concerns.
Bottom line is how is this going to effect those of us with these products?

But NONE of those things would have prevented this crime. Not one.
There needs to be pushback on this. Major pushback. The USA is now a banana republic. Only without the bananas....or the Republic.
