I'm not looking forward to this... I have to be in tomorrow at 1130. Bottom two teeth are partial bone impacted, and the top two are in all the way. I'm getting all 4 pulled. I don't know what to expect... people say your asleep but aware. I'm so freakin confused... bah

Enjoy the vicodin afterward. I haven't had an wisdom teeth pulled, but I did have a molar yanked over a month ago. It was sore for a couple weeks, but that was it.

Re: Wisdom teeth removal tomorrow
I had all my teeth pulled at once... THEN I saw this joke about the guy who goes to the dentist and lets him freeze his mouth, then slowly reaches between the dentists legs and grabs on to his balls and mutters...

Re: Wisdom teeth removal tomorrow
I only had one of mine come in and it wasn't bad at all, though I've heard stories from other people. The shot was the only thing that hurt and only for a minute. It was weird feeling with him in there with pliers twisting my head around but it popped out pretty easily and didn't hurt all that much when the shot wore off either. Maybe I'm just lucky, then again maybe I'm as tough as Chuck Norris.

Re: Wisdom teeth removal tomorrow
I had mine yanked about 8 yrs ago. I didn't want to be put under. Just got numbed up. I didn't think it was a big deal at all. The lower felt strange at first but it was getting use to the pressure on the jaw. It didn't hurt one bit. Of course I was on Vicodin for a few days beforehand because I was just in excruciating pain for about a week before I finally broke down and called the surgeon, so at that point I was so happy to have them gone any pain would been a good trade off.
I don't think I was in the chair more than 45 minutes. I was really expecting it to be rough, but it was no big deal. It's certainly no worse than a root canal. In fact I think that was worse. No pain afterward either maybe a little Advil.FUCK BIDEN

If it makes you feel any better, mine came in perfectly straight and I didn't have to have them removed....

Re: Wisdom teeth removal tomorrow
I woke up halfway through mine, but I went right back out and it didn't hurt at all. The place where I had it done was like fast food dentistry. They didn't give me any antibiotics or painkillers. After two days they were infected and that’s when they really started to hurt.
It's really not that bad though... Good Luck!Last edited by SteveXD; March 18th, 2008 at 06:24 PM.
