    Default Restore gun rights

Over 15 years ago I was found guilty of a misdemeanor pow violation for selling an automatic knife to an undercover cop. This was an older guy in his 60s who became a friend and over several months showed me automatic knives from what he said was his collection. (I had a store selling weapons and self protection of all kinds for 12 years with no other problems.) At the time I had a concealed carry permit and 5 guns. I sold my guns to a dealer and was on 1 year probation. I closed my store 2 years later. I have not had any problems with the law (other than a speeding ticket) before or after this offense. Is it at all possible to regain my rights?

An automatic knife? I can infer what you're talking about, but is this an actual illegal item?

Yes -a switchblade. After talking with the customer a dozen or so times I felt in my gut he was a very decent law abiding man who happen to have an auto knife collection. I never thought he was out to entrap me. So what I did was obtain a knife for him at the ADS trade show in Atlantic City where I purchased hundreds of other knives for resell. Several knife vendors had the autos on their tables for any attendees to purchase wholesale. This is the ONLY time I purchased an auto knife for anyone

even though I was asked at least once a week for them. With little practice many of my other knives opened every bit as

quickly. The BS is that my razor sharp swords were OK to sell but NO to a cheap collector knife with a spring. It did also

have a safety lock that had to be released first.

BTW This was a sting operation all along east PA that busted over 100 people, including some Phila cops, of weapons on the offensive list.

    Yes, it may be "possible".
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
