Stun guns
I would like to know if stun guns are legal to carry in New Jersey. I am talking about a handheld flashlight /stun gun like the ones you see sold at gun shows. I got one for a friend who lives in Pa. and works in Jersey and dont want her to get in any trouble carrying it. I know it is not the best defense but it is better than nothing..... Thanks

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In NJ they are completely illegal, most police officers don't even have them in NJ

Sounds like defending yourself is illegal in NJ. I suppose you are required to curl up in a ball and let the criminals have their way with you. Resistance will land you in prison with the very same people that robbed you.
