I stopped in a few weeks ago to see if I could rent the new Ruger MKIV as a "try out". I would say the guy I spoke with was pleasant and helpful (yes I could, but not that visit since you need to have someone, or your own gun, with you. I assume the worry is suicide by cheap rental).

Yeah. That's a legit concern on their part. It's happened. (Twice? I can't remember if was once or twice. Someone else can chime in.)

So for $5 more dollars and a 5 minute ride over a 25 it seems like a good deal. I'll post how the pick up goes when the rifle arrives.
Did you leave a call back number? Joe usually calls me back in less than 4 hours or sends an email.
I will never set foot in TM again. Ever.

I saw that TargetMaster is having a S&W weekend. May be worth checking out.

I bought quite a few guns there years ago when they were new but I will never spend another dime there again. Tommy and the staff are the most arrogant sales people ever!

Just to bring these guys to the top again… They really do suck. I called yesterday to inquire about FTF transfer (with another POOFER) and they pretty much told me to go pound sand. They said maybe in a couple weeks they would start doing them again. And when I asked how much they were not sure. But they said it would be $50+
