Any idea how the rossi compares to the bulldog, and how is the recoil out of your rossi?
Recoil isn't bad. It's about as much as a .357mag, but not as fast of a recoil.

The Rossi 720 is on a frame about the same as a S&W K-frame. In some measurements it is smaller, in others it is larger. It's entirely stainless steel, so it has some heft but not enough to really be a "heavy" gun. I don't know if the guy who owned it before me had the trigger worked over, but it is just shy of my former Colt Python was in quality.

I really don't know enough about the Bulldogs to compare the two, but I'd take one of these again over a Bulldog any day of the week.

For me it's the Ruger SP101 2.25". It has the 357mag punch and can shoot the 38 also, got some weight so recoil is manageable but still easy enough to carry. I really like the stainless brushed look it has and can go with the hammer or bobbed.
    Let see 'em boys..........
    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My fave-o-rite snubbie too..mine is Mag-na-ported and has rubber finger-groove grips to get my pinkie finger a place to rest..I love that revolver and usually shoot 125gr JHP .357 ammo thru it.
