I think you guys missed the point of what I was saying.

If you go back and look at what I said, I said that most people, men in particular, will never go to or consider going to a professional firearms training class.

Those of you who have and who do are part of the solution, not part of the problem.

The fact remains that if you look at the number of firearms owners, and then the number of those people who recognize that they would benefit from a training course, the number is very, very small.

And from experience - and I've been teaching training classes for 15+ years - there are a fair degree of individuals who bring macho attitudes and egos to the range. Almost everyone loses any kind of ego or attitude after they attend their first class.

    Did I say all? No, I didn't.

Did I specify any individual? No, I didn't.

It it relatively common? At times, yes - it is.

    Take Jay's class.

You'll learn a lot and have fun doing it.

I have available a 5.45mm AR-15, magazines, and ammo if someone wants to participate in the March Transitional Carbine course but doesn't have the ammo. I'll sell you the 5.45 for the same price AIM Surplus is listing it at, which is $0.16/round. Use of the gun and mags is on the house. First come, first served!

Someone took me up on the above offer, but I have another offer:

I have available a 5.45mm Kalashnikov, magazines, and ammo if someone wants to participate in the March Transitional Carbine course but doesn't have the ammo. I'll sell you the 5.45 for the same price AIM Surplus is listing it at, which is $0.16/round. Use of the gun and mags is on the house. First come, first served!

    1. The above offer for a 5.45mm AK, ammo, and mags still stands.

    2. We're about 10 days out and coming down to the wire on signing up. An info email will be going out very shortly to enrolees.

    3. This course offering is tailored to the average armed citizen. This is not a "jock up in a plate carrier" environment.

    4. This course covers scenarios and instances where an average armed citizen might actually use a long gun. Zombie Apocalypse preppers need not apply.

    5. We hold students to the highest of accuracy standards. It's not enough to pay lip service to "every bullet has a lawyer attached to it".

Official last call for March Transitional Carbine. The AK and cheap 5.45 ammo is still available... or if you have and want to use a 5.45mm AR.

If you want to get in on this class but all you have is a .22 AR and ammo, let me know and we'll discuss it. I do have an M&P15-22 if you have .22 ammo.

There's another Transitional Carbine scheduled for later in the year; please check www.lowspeed-highdrag.com for details.
