Need a cabin builder in Potter County

Does anyone have the name of a builder with a good rep in or near Potter county that could build a log cabin? Nothing fancy, just a shell with a garage, a great room with a wood stove in the middle, a loft and a deck. I'd love to start building in the spring, but can wait a while if needed.

To me a shell is has log siding as opposed to actual logs

A friend of mine just built a really nice cabin in Tioga near Wellsboro. All the contractors he used were pretty good, reasonable and did business by handshake. I could find out if you like. It was in Gaines so GCtry's guy could be it.

A cabin with real logs, but nothing fancy. By shell I meant just the foundation, floor, four walls and a roof. I'll do the inside including plumbing and electric as time and $$ allows.

That would be great! I'm about 20 mins west of Wellsboro so I'd bet they'd come my way too. I think the north central counties of PA are one of the few places remaining between Boston and DC where a handshake is still as binding as a twelve page contract. Leaving the Philly area and going up to my camp is like setting my watch back 40 years, and I mean that in a good way.

I would think requires more planning. Once those walls are up it's not going to be any easy task to change anything for obvious reasons (electrical and such). It may need to be finished a bit more than you envision.
