New to Lancaster County
Hey y'all
I moved to Lancaster county a couple months back and I have been looking for a new rifle range. I am an avid rifle marksmen that loves shooting long range. I had a place I could shoot upto 450 yards but it is over an hour and a half away now. I'm getting bored shooting 200 yards. Does anyone know of a longe rangee rifle range in the area?

Re: New to Lancaster County
New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club is quite suitable for that and is one of the nicer facilities I've been to.

Re: New to Lancaster County
You'll need a chunk of cash at least. Last I checked yearly dues were $75 with a $250 application fee.

One year dues just went up to $125, unless 65 or older. Link.

Atglen is another potential depending on your location. But memberships at Atglen for 2013 are closed. Might want to get on waiting list however. Link.

Re: New to Lancaster County
Yea good luck..most are 100-200....you don't see many 300+ in this area...unless you find a nice farmer that lets you use his woodline as a back stop across the field

Re: New to Lancaster County
Southern Lancaster County Farmer-Sportmen's Association has ranges up to 300 yards. The membership fee is $50 per year with no application or initiation fee. However, they're closing in on their 2200 member cap, so it will only be a matter of time until new memberships are closed for the year.
