Mossberg 930 SPX 3inch Magnum Malfunction
had the SPX out today and had my nephew shooting while I filmed him.
the video shows 3inch buckshot. turkey loads, slugs, and birdshot

Anyone know what would be causing this
Ended up sending it back to Mossberg.what ever they did.It shot the 3 inch mags with no problem.Last edited by RUDY850; March 4th, 2013 at 01:40 AM.

Burrs, more than likely (new gun and will quickly wear away). Last few rounds shot fine. Also, it will cycle better with a tighter shoulder. Shooter looked too loose the first few times he shot.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

If it is a new gun, you'll want to keep it clean and lubed well until it wears in so the shavings stay flushed out.
