    ?????

    Sep 27 --> Nov 17 = 7 wks, 2 days... Seems like that's within the 6 - 8 week range...

    Did you maybe mean Oct 27 as the app day? In that case, Bravo!!!

    I looked into getting it when I went to a basic handgun safety class by Personal Defense Solutions. They have a class at Ready Aim Fire every month. Bruce Eimer said he's the only Utah CFP instructor in the SE PA area. He wanted $150 for the Utah class. Also to my knowledge I would need a PA LTCF to get my Utah [right?]

    Other then my Arizona, I'm waiting for my Virginia to come in the mail. I looked into a Florida permit also. With Mrs. Kane wanting to close the "Evil Florida murderer loop hole", I'm waiting to see how that plays out. I don't want to pay $120 for my Florida and not have it be valid. Hopefully like all politicans she's all talk and no action. I'm also saving up for an Act 235 card since I want to get into security work. The Maine NR looks good too, but there NR permits aren't honored in that many states.

    Yup, I just looked up the Utah CFP and I need a "permit" from my home state if it has a reciprocity agreement or honors Utah permits. So I would need to go threw the ppd to eventually get my utah. So I'll put off Utah untill I eventually moved out of this place.

    He is a lying sack of bovine excrement...as evidenced on other threads here. I'd avoid him at all costs.

    See red above.

    No matter what Ms Kane does, a FL permit will still be "valid"...just maybe not here in PA.

    What problems do you have with Dr. Eimer? I attended his BHS for my Virginia & attended a paperwork class for My Florida. He also filled out my Arizona print cards at no extra cost. He seems like a nice guy. I did a search and couldn't find any extremely bad threads about him.

    My mistake. I did indeed mean to say October 27.
