Most of those are in developments. No shooting allowed . The property you linked to is in the development I grew up in. When my parents moved there in 1972, we were the only year round residents and up to graduating high school in 1985 the year round residents stayed below 10 homes. It was some awesome hunting in those days. Now there are houses on every road and cul-de-sac.
If you want to shoot on your own property you have to get away from the developments and all the NY and NJ people- no offense but they move away from the shit holes they lived in and make rules that match the shit holes they left.
Funny the propery linked on the website is where one my stands were. Now there are three houses in that cul-de-sac.

This is a very nice area to live in but as jsoc said, we area still a little too close to NY/NJ to peacefully shot at home. I personally would strongly advise you steer clear of the community/HOA lots, but I have never been interested in anybody telling me what to do on or to property that I own.

My wife's cousin is a realtor at Chant if you are interested.

I would suggest looking into Damascus, Equinock, and Beach Lake areas. I lived in both those areas and never had a problem shooting on my property. In fact neighbors all shoot too. Just avoid the communitys that are spread throughout the area. In those areas your about 10 - 20 mins from Honesdale and the neighboring NY towns.
